Eat @ Wilton Manors

Here we list our favorite and best spots on Wilton Manors to grab a bite.
When you go, always tell them that Alex & Ray from Le Chateau sent you!

Tapas

Apt. 9F

Where everybody knows your name! Our version of Cheers (if you’re too young to get the reference, just go, it’s awesome). Carol and Nancy, two of the best known and all around extraordinary ladies on the Drive, own this fabulous and popular social eatery. They serve lots of love along with great tapas and even better wine. You’ll always feel welcome when you get there, and leave wanting to come back. Our favorite bites are the Turkey Meatballs and the Pork Belly Tacos, oh yeah and the Baked Goat Cheese! For dessert, try the Big A** Cookies, they’re true to their name.

Mexican

Tulio's Tacos

Whether it’s Chips and Guac, Al Pastor Tacos, the Chicken Burrito or the Tulio’s Nachos, you can’t go wrong. Right across the street from Apt. 9f, they’ll always treat you right. The bar is not large, but it’s a good spot to casually meet someone new.

Burgers

Rosie's Bar & Grill

Known for its burgers, but people really come for its chill vibe and drinks. Sundays are especially fun here.

Georgie’s Alibi

One of the most popular bars in Wilton Manors, also has an award winning burger. Their covered patio and bar is a great place to hangout in the afternoon, or on a lazy Sunday.

Myth Gastrobar

Every night at 8PM there’s live music to be enjoyed at Myth. It’s the closest thing to a piano bar on Wilton Drive, where you’ll sing your heart out as you enjoy a delicious burger. You won’t need dessert with all the eye candy at this place, just look to both owners: Javier and Carlos!

Sushi

There are several sushi spots on Wilton Dr.  I’ll break them down for you…

Tee Jay Thai Sushi

Located a few steps South of Georgie’s Alibi, this sushi haunt is best enjoyed at night, before you go meet your bestie for a drink at Alibi. If you like a lot of fish in (and on) your roll, try the Sea Monster, and pair it with a coconut Sake. It’s good eatin’!

Sozo Sushi

If you want tiny, but upscale, try Sozo. It’s a mom and pop shop, and Mo, their daughter holds court here. Mo serves good quality food, drink and conversation in this great and cozy spot.

Thai Me Up

Weather permitting, you’ll want to sit outside always. Cool music, and good food and sometimes irreverent service make for a memorable time. The Pineapple Fried Rice is delish, and worth the carbs, trust me. Their Pad Thai is also very good. Oh and they have an all-you-can-eat menu, but be sure you can eat the entire thing!

They have a good happy hour as well.

Italian

Bona Italian

My good friend Glen owns this special spot. He’s as irreverent as he is sweet, and will treat you like family. Their #1 seller is the Chicken Cyriac, which is blacked chicks over a garlic cream sauce, penne pasta and fresh toasted almonds on top, yum! And for a special dish, try their Swordfish Siciliana, a plank encrusted with Kalamata olives, capers, cherry tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, garlic over spinach. Amazing dish!

Mama Mia

Their handmade pasta is to die! The mother, daughter team is a hit at this cozy restaurant. The meatballs are insane, and I recommend their lasagna without any reservations.

Greek

Ethos Greek Bistro

While it’s a chain restaurant, it doesn’t feel like one. It’s the place you’ll want to be in on a Saturday night when you want a loud and fun crowd. I personally love their Cucumber Twist, but with gin instead of vodka, you’ll thank me. Also try the Spread Sampler, and the Grilled Octopus. All great options. For a heavier meal you can’t leave without trying the Lamb Chops with lemon potatoes, simply divine!

Seafood

Raw Bar

Easygoing spot from Bravo TV Top Chef Josie Smith-Malave. Their specialty is champagne and oysters, but they also have one of the best Rib Eyes I've ever had.
